This necklace is made in a shape of a grandfather's clock and has a few hidden secrets in it.
1. The watch on the top of it is vintage and it runs. When I found that out, I just couldn't mount it into the necklace without a chance of giving it a new life, if possible. So, I made the besel that holds the watch openable. It is not meant to be open every day, because the watch sits pretty tight in the notch and taking it out every day would finally scratch it and bend the wire hinges too..

SO if you decide that you want to take the watch to the watchmaker and service it and wear it on your hand, I found the solution.
2. I am attaching two extra inlays for that besel for you: another watch that doesn't run (it has different dial colour) and a Gorgeous labradorite, that fits the space well and gonna make your necklace pop up really.
I never had an aim to make a necklace with interchangeable inlays. But if that old watch gets into the right hands, it may get a chance for another life.
If not, it will serve as a gorgeous statement piece of jewellery and that is good too!
3. Secret number three: the painting has all 12 numbers from the watch dial hidden in it. And if you want you can try to find them all!
4. Cute addition is the famous line written on the backside!
To make this necklace I used copper wire and sheet, snow obsidians, hematites and real watch and clock parts from my collection of clocks.
The paintings are done on the copper base with primer on it and are painted with acrylic paints. They are selaed with some varnish too
Copper is sealed as well.
