First I made the bee. Then I thought I wanted to add some wrap around it..and I was so absorbed into the process that didn't even notice how it grew into a whole art story.
Starry night has always been one of the favourite paintings of mine, so I decided to paint my humble version of it. Stars are flowing over the sunflowes field and my wirewrapped bee is going to pollinate at night to make some magical starry honey! The painting is made on solid copper plate with some primer first and the protection varnish on the top.
The other side of the necklace lets us see her flying over the fantasy sunflower ready to get some pollen!✨🍯
