This story has captured my imagination and I decided to make my own vision of the wardrobe that opens the portal to a magic world.
I took the vintage wooden clock, that did not run. Took out the movement and started making the doors. They are made of solid copper sheet and wire. The lion head handle ishand sawn from copper and has a magnet in it.
The inside base is made of copper too.
I sculpted faun out of oven baked polymer clay, hand painted him, added some fur and a tiny cotton scarf. The packages he carries are tiny copper wires wrapped in paper. The umbrella is made of clay as well.
The biggest fun was adding the snow. It is made of texture paste and some acrylic paint.
